Dianne Midgley (Woodard)

Dianne Midgley Woodard....Born Feb. 25, 1953
Died Nov. 21, 1993

I am writing a tribute for my sister, Dianne.

She was/is a remarkable person, daughter, sister, wife, mother and dear friend to many.
Dianne had/has seven incredible children. She was the best mother around. Her children remember to this day all the special things she would do for them. She played the piano and taught her children to sing and love music. She wrote many songs, music and lyrics and played the piano and sang her songs. She recorded them so that we have them to listen to now. Dianne was an artist and painted and sewed and designed purses and clothing.

She was an aroebic instructor for years. Dianne Home Schooled her children for 6 years.
Dianne was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and lived her faith 110%. She raised all her children in this faith and they are all members of the church.
She held offices in the church and shared the gospel and her testimony daily. She lived her life for our Heavenly Father and for Jesus Christ.

I love my sister very much and miss her every day.
I know that she is in Heaven and that I will see her again some day and be with her. Her children all know and believe this, too.

We are grateful for her legacy of honesty, integrity, generosity and Christ-like love.
May we remember Dianne Midgley Woodard for these very special attributes and may
we all strive to live more as she did.

Much love, Darlene Midgley Isaacson

Ah, this hurts. I had no idea Dianne has passed on.

I had such a crush on her at CHS. She was incredibly sweet. We wrote several times while she attended Ricks.

Thanks for this tribute. She had all these wonderful characteristics as a young girl, so it is no surprise her life was so well-lived.

I was lucky enough to know that my friend was ill and was able to be at her memorial service.  She died during the time my sister Paula was also dying and I never forgot the day I left Paula's hospital in Bellevue hospital to go home to Cheney for Dianne's service.  Rest well, my friend. - Sue Myers Falk

Dianne was the kindest person I've ever known, both as a teenager (which was unique) and an adult.

We could all aspire to live our lives as lovingly and non-judgemently as she did.
